Regency Hotel, Douglas

The hotel's location was ideal for work and exploring the island, but the rooms were disappointing with poor views and ventilation. The service was exceptional, with helpful staff, but the dining options lacked variety. Overall, a mixed experience with some standout features and drawbacks.

The hotel had spacious and spotlessly clean rooms, with excellent beds and bathrooms, although they were at the rear of the building overlooking bins with no views. The service was outstanding, with friendly and helpful staff offering good local information. The location was great, right on the seafront and with beautiful wood panelled rooms and stained glass windows throughout. The dining experience, while not as good as expected, offered good quality food but poorly cooked and not hot enough. Overall, a comfortable stay with a few minor drawbacks.
